The square of Grammichele is worth a visit. From the very particular hexagonal plant, the town is 10 minutes from the beautiful and festive Caltagirone, a town famous for the art of ceramics.
Francesca is a distinguished person, affable and attentive to every guest's need. Very discreet is a host of those you hope to meet before leaving. Always smiling and helpful, he gave us an exceptional welcome. Upon our arrival the bathroom in the beautiful swimming pool surrounded by greenery, was a truly relaxing and rejuvenating moment, given the scorching temperatures of the day.

The villa Libertine was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and most of all welcoming. I would highly recommend going to Grammichele, even if just to stay at the villa Libertine. My friend and I felt at home from the moment we stepped through the door and Francesca treated us like family throughout her stay. Francesca's house is large and very tastefully furnished. The small town of Grammichele, with a perfectly hexagonal plant, certainly deserves a walk.
Francesca and her son Rene are very interesting people. What they offer goes far beyond a simple bed in a refined home, they love to really know their guests and give them a special treat, making them feel at home. Although we only stayed one night here, in fact, we still had the chance to chat and get to know each other a little, discovering many common interests and even mutual friends! If you are looking for an authentic airbnb experience, this is the house for you.

The apartment has everything you need, even toys for children. The beds are super comfortable. Everything was super clean. Get directions from Mariska, some streets are for small cars only. It's best to park at the bakery, buy delicious bread and walk to the house. We will be back definitely. The apartment is in the center and is really nice, comfortable, clean and contains everything you need. Mariska welcomed us in person and was very kind. Mineo is a cute, little town located on a hill and surrounded by beautiful agricultural lands, where a person can have a walk.
Something we were looking for. There is some public transportation to the town from Catania and Catania Airport and other locations. Mariska's apartment is centrally located and close to everything - the bus stop, bakery, grocery shops, pharmacy, pizza restaurants etc.

But what made our stay even more special was meeting our hosts Mariska and Emilio and learning about their projects and life in Sicily. This place is a hidden pearl! Situated in the center of Mineo close to everything. Mariska is the most dedicated host you will ever meet. For us it was also a big help that she spoke English. Mineo and Mariskas place is absolutely worth a visit.

Grammichele is a wonderful place with genuine Sicilian life rhytm and beat. We truly enjoyed just sitting on a main square and just feeling the local life. We loved every minute of our stay and the accomodation contributed to it. Salvatore is an amazing host! Communication was great and he was there for anything we needed. Grammichele is small but close to many must-see locations. The place was really clean and the breakfast that is offered at Salvatore's father's bar was really nice. Beautiful place in a great location with easy access to the main square and the many cafes and restaurants.
Piaciri osteria is highly recommended plus Sicialian red wine Soira Perricone. Great pasta! Our stay was amazing! All the perfect Salvatore is welcoming and professional. The house is beautiful just a stone's throw from the beautiful Grammichele Square. There are some beautiful places to eat and drink very well.

In short, a real life castle. Pleasant and functional accommodation, with a superb view of Grammichele and the surrounding mountains, in the pretty garden of Carmen and its quince trees. Very welcome, Carmen is attentive and smiling, which immediately forget the dirt road that we had to borrow to come it climbs dry and it jolts hard, but in the end no damage and it's worth it.
I highly recommend! Super quiet accommodation with all the necessary equipment. The view is beautiful but it deserves because you should not be afraid to engage on an unpaved road to access it.
